FoodEducators

FoodEducators is a program for primary and secondary schools that encourages healthy and sustainable eating habits, as well as careers in the agri-food sector.

FoodEducators is an EIT Food program that provides easily accessible, scientifically-based content and lesson plans for working with students on the topic of food. The goal is to help students become informed and conscious consumers of the future. The program is implemented in more than 10 national HUBs across the European Union and focuses on direct work with students.

We invite all schools, teachers, students, parents, and professional services to join the FoodEducators program! Our program is designed to provide everyone with the tools and knowledge needed for a better understanding of food, health, and sustainability.

Ongoing addition of new materials

On the FoodEducators website, you can find teaching materials in both English and Croatian. Over the coming months, we are actively working on translating and adding new materials in Croatian, including preparation materials for project day activities such as quizzes, recipe creation from food leftovers, student and parent picnics, and more.
