What we aim to achieve through the FoodEducators program
FoodEducators promotes the enhancement of systematic thinking and connectivity, the adoption of sustainable lifestyles, and healthy eating habits. The program aligns with the Curriculum of the Interdisciplinary Topic of Sustainable Development for primary and secondary schools. In implementing these important themes, you will have all the necessary resources and our support.
You can join in just a few simple steps
Conduct a lesson using the prepared content or organize a project day/week/activity in your school.
Key activities you need to undertake to participate in the FoodEducators program
For your school to participate in the project, it is enough to engage in one of the suggested activities or conduct a lesson using the provided content:
Include these days/weeks in your school curriculum. You can download the curriculum proposal here. With our support and resources, your students will engage in a variety of educational activities.
We have provided everything you need for conducting the project day and lessons, including lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, additional materials, fun activities, and quizzes.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in activities alongside students from other schools across the European Union, which further enhances their motivation and interest in the subject.
Ongoing addition of new materials
On the FoodEducators website, you can find teaching materials in both English and Croatian. Over the coming months, we are actively working on translating and adding new materials in Croatian, including preparation materials for project day activities such as quizzes, recipe creation from food leftovers, student and parent picnics, and more.
Enable students to grow healthily and become sustainable consumers in the future. Join the community of schools that recognize the importance of these topics and actively work on their implementation. Our education offers a comprehensive package of new tools, methodologies, and learning materials about food, tailored to your needs. The materials for working with students have been tried and successfully tested in over 10 European countries, and now you have the opportunity to use them in your work. Some materials are also available in Croatian.
Join the FoodEducators program and provide your students with a brighter future!
Anyone can get involved, including the entire school, multiple classes, individual classes, extracurricular groups, the kitchen staff, the professional service, and parents. The program is flexible, straightforward, and tailored to meet the needs of your school and community!
