Social/Positive Impact: The goal of the GoAgriTech Workshops project is to educate Ukrainian high school students about career development opportunities in the agri-food sector and provide them with the necessary knowledge and confidence to pursue careers in agritech or foodtech industries.
With the support of EIT Food, Smion organized the GoAgriTech workshops with the aim of empowering young people and providing them with the necessary knowledge to advance their careers in the agritech or foodtech industries. During the workshops, high school students had the opportunity to network and connect with experts from the agrifood and agritech sectors, allowing them to better understand the perspectives and opportunities in these industries.
Through the implementation of the GoAgriTech Workshops project, the following results were achieved:
- Education and empowerment of a total of 20 Ukrainian students.
- Participants gained essential knowledge and skills required for further development of their careers in the agri-food industry.
- Young individuals connected with experts from the agrifood and agritech sectors, enabling them to better comprehend the perspectives and opportunities in these industries.
This project has a significant societal impact as it promotes education and career opportunities for young people in the agriculture and food industry sector, helping them better understand and appreciate the possibilities in the agritech and foodtech sectors.
