Introduction:
“Empowering Women in Agrifood” is a six-month program designed to support early-career women entrepreneurs in the agriculture and food sector. The program aims to enhance the position of women in the agriculture and food industry and stimulate the development of sustainable businesses. Through the program, participants receive education, mentoring, and support for the development of their business ideas in the agrifood sector.
Results/Achievements:
The “Empowering Women in Agrifood” program has achieved the following results:
- Education and empowerment of 10 women entrepreneurs to continue developing their businesses in the agriculture and food sector.
- Cash prizes of €10,000 and €5,000 awarded as incentives for the further development of participants’ businesses.
- Education and mentoring for participants by experienced mentors to provide them with expert support in developing their business ideas.
The “Empowering Women in Agrifood” program contributes to increasing the representation of women in the agrifood sector and supports their professional development.
